Continued from "Our Family" - Mabel will always be remembered for the short stories she made up (on the fly) using the names of the kids listening, as the main characters. Frankie, Marshall and Buck would ask her to tell them a story and the story would begin with Frankie, Marshall and Buck walking in the woods looking for hidden rabbit holes or lost treasures. If Buck wanted to be the leader... he would suddenly become the leader and the story would go on and on.
